My Favorite Things
OK, so this isn't what you thought it was going to be. I think you'll know what it is as you "sing along."

Darcy and Lizzie, his "look" and her fine eyes,
Misconstrued discourse and frustrated sighs,
Seeing his pleasure as our Lizzie sings,
These are a few of my favorite things.

Dancing at Netherfield, encounters while walking,
Sparring, and teasing each other when talking,
Her firm refusal his first offer brings,
These are a few of my favorite things.

When Wickham lies,
When Collins tries
To secure Lizzies' hand,
I simply remember my favorite things,
And then I don't feel so bad.

Reading the letter and discovering what is fact,
Going to Pemberley and putting on an act,
Knowing the tension that being there brings,
These are a few of my favorite things.

Dives into ponds, and in due course a wet shirt,
Embarrassed meeting when feelings are still hurt,
A change in character that only times brings,
These are a few of my favorite things.

When Caroline goes off,
When Lydia shows off,
When things just seem so sad,
I simply remember my favorite things,
And then I don't feel so bad!

Seeing that dark, tall, and proud man is coming
To visit Lizzie, it keeps my heart drumming,
Knowing that one day soon she'll wear his ring,
These are a few of my favorite things.

Standing in church proclaimed Mr. and Mrs.,
Off in their carriage, being smothered in kisses,
Now I'll start over and know what it brings,
These are a few of my favorite things.

When Collins simpers,
When Mrs. B whimpers,
When Lady Catherine's mad,
I simply remember my favorite things,
And then I don't feel sooooooo bad!
