6/30/2010 - Sent the final edits back to Sourcebooks for "Darcy's Voyage" and received first comments from my editor on "Something Like Regret" (soon to be titled something else!). I need to cut out (tighten up) a segment of it, which I think is one of the hardest things to do. But I'm almost there. I hope to see the new cover (with new title) very soon! I'll post it as soon as possible.
5/15/2010 - Having been unable to update website, sorry this is so long in coming. "Pemberley's Promise" is being published by Sourcebooks as "Darcy's Voyage" and will come out Sept. 1, 2010!
There are no plot changes, only improvements in editing. Watch for it in your favorite bookstore or online! I have had to pull all sales of "Pemberley's Promise" from lulu and amazon.
12/1/2009 - The December contest has begun! Again, the rules are the same, but the prize is a signed copy of "Master Under Good Regulation" and an adorable Webkinz Springer Spaniel stuffed dog. Go to my blog for complete details.
11/10/2009 - There has been a slight change in the publishing dates for my books. The plan is to keep "Pemberley's Promise" on schedule for a fall release, but due to the economy, "Something Like Regret" has been pushed back to Spring 2012. Fortunately, you will still be able to purchase these books up until 6 months before the release date.
11/2/2009 - The November contest has begun! Write any review on any site or blog on any book and let me know. You will be entered to win a copy of "Assumed Obligation" and a 3 inch prism - that really makes rainbows on the wall when held up to the sunlight! Go to my blog for complete details.

9/21/2009 - Two bits of news! Barnes & Noble have finally picked up "Something Like Regret" at a discounted price of $14.35. And Amazon discountered their price to $14.35!
8/6/2009 - Started a blog and got my new website, karalouise.ahhhs.net. up and running.
8/5/2009 - Signed my contract with Sourcebooks and sent it back! They will be publishing "Pemberley's Promise" and "Something Like Regret" in Fall, 2010, with the option to pick up the other 4 books by 2012.
7/25/2009 - Received a final contract from Sourcebooks to publish my books.
6/14/2009 - Told by Deb Werksman at Sourcebooks that "Yes! We want to publish your books!"
6/10/2009 - Contacted by Sourcebooks saying that they wanted to take another look at my books!
