Something Like Regret - The title comes from the words Jane Austen penned as Elizabeth walks through Pemberley. She thinks about how she would be its mistress if she had accepted Mr. Darcy's proposal, but reminds herself that her aunt and uncle would never have been welcomed as guests. Jane Austen tells us, "This was a lucky recollection -- it saved her from something like regret." In "Something Like Regret," Mrs. Bennet's greatest fear comes to pass. With the death of Mr. Bennet in the early summer after Elizabeth returns from Kent, Longbourn is entailed away to Mr. Collins. Elizabeth and Jane take on positions as governesses in London; their mother and sisters move in with the Phillips' in Meryton. Elizabeth could not be happier with the family for whom she works, but soon comes to discover that they have a long-standing association with the Darcys. As she is thrown into his presence, she comes to a greater understanding of his goodness while comprehending the even greater disparity in their stations.
Drive and Determination - In this modern story, Elyssa Barnett clashes with Will Denton, president of Pemberleo Coffee. When they are thrown together two years later under tragic circumstances, Elyssa blames him and finds it extrememly difficult to forgive him.
A Master Under Good Regulation - This is the story of Pride and Prejudice and seen through the eyes of Fitzwilliam Darcy's dog, Reginald (Reggie).
Pemberley's Promise - This is a what if story about Elizabeth traveling to America on a ship to see her aunt and uncle. Darcy is also on board, on his way to bring Georgiana back home. Please note that this book is no longer available on lulu.com or amazon as it is being published in September, 2010, by Sourcebooks. Watch for "Darcy's Voyage" in your favorite bookstore or online. (You can still read the first few chapters here!)
Assumed Engagement - In this variation of Pride and Prejudice, Darcy returns to Pemberley from Rosings, after being refused by Elizabeth. His carriage is in an accident and he is rendered unconscious. Having written Georgiana previously that he was going to ask for Miss Elizabeth Bennet's hand, Georgiana, thinking they are engaged, writes to her, begging her to come to Pemberley, thinking she may be able to help draw him out of it.
Assumed Obligation - (a sequel to Assumed Engagement) following the Darcys in their married life and a romance for the young Georgiana that has certain similarities to that of her brother and Elizabeth. A deepening friendship occurs between Georgiana and Kitty, who now wishes to be called Catherine, and could there be romance for her, too?

The Talk
(a short story) This was my first attempt at fan fiction. The story follows Darcy and Elizabeth's wedding, beginning in the carriage ride on the way to an inn on their wedding night.

I wrote my first piece of Jane Austen fan fiction in August, 2001 and have enjoyed doing so ever since. All of my pieces to date are based on Pride and Prejudice, being my favorite of all her novels. I am married and have one son who also loves to write, having gotten his degree in Creative Writing. My other creative outlet is crafts, and I do a variety of things from tole painting to cross stitch to scrapbooking. I also enjoy playing volleyball and softball. My husband and I live on 10 acres in the country and we have two horses, 2 goats, and 6 cats. I am a Christian and work at my church doing the publications, website,
